Charnwood Surgery is on Burton Road, near to the centre of town. We also have a branch surgery at TufnellGardens, Mackworth. Both sites have easy access for disabled and wheelchair users.

There are 7 partners and 1 salaried doctor. Since 2004 we are a training practice and have one GP Registrar and also take medical students from Derby Medical School.

History of the practice

We were originally based on Charnwood Street, Derby and moved to a new purpose built building which was opened on the 15th January 1996. The branch surgery at Mackworth is situated on a housing estate and underwent major extension and improvements and was opened on 11th April 2001.
